Haw Par Group has a longstanding interest in the leisure and attractions sector, with past investments in L'Aquarium Barcelona, as well as golf and bowling facilities. The Group also owned and operated Chengdu Haw Par Oceanarium and Underwater World Singapore, where Underwater World Singapore achieved notable operational success. These ventures have equipped us with valuable operational and design expertise in managing family-friendly attractions.
Currently, we own and operate Underwater World Pattaya in Thailand, launched in 2003. Located in the coastal city of Pattaya, just a short drive from Bangkok, the oceanarium offers a tranquil setting for educational visits and special events. Our exhibits showcase the biodiversity of aquatic life, providing immersive experiences and educational programmes that complement the broader tourism offerings in the region.
Guided by our experience, we remain open to exploring new opportunities in the leisure sector that are both commercially viable and sustainably operated.
